SportClips Haircuts in the Pine Valley Shopping Center on Dupont Road is helping military families connect.
For every haircut SportClips gives on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, it will donate a dollar to help more than 100,000 military families around the world connect this holiday season.
The fundraiser is called Operation Uplink - Help a Hero Call Home.
Store Manger Tina Kucinsky said many people do not realize that soldiers often have to pay out of their own pockets for the internet and phone calls that allow them to call home.
